It was the first book I read by you, and since then, I have read The Deepest Water and have two more on my shelf to read. Thanks for your writing and for your witness to Christ. In everything I have read, you have closed with a Bible verse, which I deeply appreciate.Juanita Nobleshttp://juanitanobles.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791370181970390465.post-53907982078950549522011-12-02T12:13:58.792-06:002011-12-02T12:13:58.792-06:00Thanks for sharing your stories, Cheryl and Debbie...Thanks for sharing your stories, Cheryl and Debbie. Debbie, my heart goes out to you. Can't imagine such a thing, especially on Christmas Eve. Glad you've been able to begin some new family traditions.

Glad you're enjoying the book, Sandra. As a child, my dad would always read the book "The Other Wise Man" by Henry Van Dyke. It was read by candlelight and was very special. The other memory was not special, my dad was killed on Christmas Eve 34 years ago by a careless truck driver. It has put a big damper on my family for Christmas since then. I married and have my own Christmas traditions, but I will always remember my childhood and my dad.
Please enter me in the drawing. I remember one Christmas when we had a snow storm, our family piled into the cab of my Dad's truck in order to make it out to my grandparents' farm for Christmas. This was no 2-seater, and there were 5 of us -- my parents, me, and my two sisters. Good thing we were still little! :)Cheryl Barkerhttp://cherylbarker.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791370181970390465.post-16331966358426959182011-12-01T07:55:29.763-06:002011-12-01T07:55:29.763-06:00Sandra and Dan, what a wonderful interview, and su...Sandra and Dan, what a wonderful interview, and such a refreshing change!!
