Okay, so I've run out of time. It's been a hectic day. With so many things are going on, I haven't had time to research a blog topic. However, I came upon a news article that might interest our readers about a British officer who was a prisoner during WWI. Seems his mother was dying, and he wrote to the Kaiser, asking for permission to visit her. Surprisingly, the Kaiser agreed.
