Historical writing involves historical research. One of my favorite things to do when researching a historical novel is finding rare photos or videos. Watching them always poses the question...who were these people? What were their lives like? And it doesn't hurt that I'm a bit of a history buff, especially medieval or regency periods. Do you have a favorite time period you like to see in books and movies?
