  1. Ugh! That was a hard question to answer. I'm not sure what the difference between a critique partner and brainstorming partner are. To me, they could be the same and often are. It's vital to have a critique partner, but I'm at the point in my career where I still need mentors.

  2. I have a critique group, but I also have someone who I brainstorm ideas with--invaluable to me at those times when I want to talk things through on the phone. Two totally different things. And, yes, they surely could be the same person. Thanks, Linnette!

    Question: What does having a mentor mean to you? And can a mentor also be a crit partner?
