Secondly - WOW! What an awesome giveaway! I can't wait to read this book. B&N is my fave bookstore, and Starbucks has a yummy Caramel Hot Chocolate!

I would also like to thank Renee for reminding me to come back and enter this weeks giveaway. Thanks, girl!

  9. Hey there, Lisa. Lisa sent me over here to check this out. She's a great lady, that Lisa. Pretty good writer, too. Though I'm sure no one knows her biggest secret. Ready? I taught her everything she knows about writing. Yuppers, I sure did.

Now, Lisa, I can see that Caramel Machiatto spewing out your nose as you read this. But you know it's true. It's okay though, I don't hold it against you.

So now, can I have me a free copy of that there book you think you wrote? And why didn't you put me in the acknowledgments? You'll have to remember that for next time. You know how I get when you forget me.

  10. And you guys got to know this. It's important. Hang on to your pantyhose. . .

Lisa's book was given a four star review by Romantic Times. Whoo, someone fan me! You gotta know that that's better than fried chicken and cornbread. Much better. Less calories too.

  12. LOLOL!! Sandra, you're a hoot. Didn't you see your name in the acknowledgments?? I know I put it in there...wonder what happened...maybe it got edited out by mistake?? I'm sure I put it there somewhere...right under "I wanna thank God and Sandra..."

  13. Mimi, you're entered. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  14. (blushing) And I forgot to thank Sandra for mentioning my Romantic Times review.

My knees were shaking when I found out they would be reviewing Calico. It's like they were going to be reviewing ME...judging the value of ME, ya know what I mean? I know that's not so, but it was still hard to convince my heart of that. I'm thankful for the good review, but I can't claim credit. It truly is a result of much prayer and awesome crit partners. :-)
